Wii System

For those of you that haven't heard Trae bought a Wii system. It's actually pretty fun. We get sore arms from bowling. We also bought a Wii Fit System. It's a board that you stand on. I like the yoga and 'exercise' componenets- Trae and Bekah like the games. There is a hula hoop one, walking a tight rope, and a soccer one. Below is a video of Bekah playing the soccer one. She was hilarious! Sometime instead of a soccer ball they throw soccer shoes and black and white panda bears that you are supposed to dodge. You can hear Bekah when she hits one of those. Here are pictures of Bekah and Daddy doing yoga and the tight rope walking!

Swimming Lessons

Yesterday I enrolled Bekah into swimming lessons. It's her first time! :-) She will go an hour everyday for 2 weeks. I'm excited/nervous. Friday she will also be going to see a matinee for the first time! We're going to the new Beltonian Theater. It's an old school theater where they come to your seat to get your food order and they dress up in costumes. We're going to watch Wall-E, it's an hour and a half so we'll see how she does. That's it for the Momma/Bekah duo for now. Stay tuned. . .. you never know what kind of trouble they might get into.

Avery Reese's Bedding

It's here!!! Yeah. Below is a picture of what his bedding looks like. We are going to paint the walls green and blue. We went to Lowe's yesterday to get some paint samples.

Hayden Zachary Tomlinson

For those of you that didn't know--my twin sister was pregnant too! This is a picture of the two of us from her shower in Tyler on June 7.

Hayden Zachary was born on Wednesday, June 18, 2008. He was 8 lbs. 11 oz. and 20 1/2 inches long. They were released from the hospital the next day but were readmitted Saturday night due to jaundice. They are now (Monday afternoon) on their way back home again with a bililight. He's a cutie!!!



This is how Bekah spent her time in the hospital waiting room while we all waited for Hayden to get here!


But she was soooo excited to finally hold him when he got home! She would come over and pat him on the head and tell him "It's Ok Hayden" when he would cry.

Bekah's New Playset

I tried sharing this through e-mail earlier but it was too big for most servers. So here it is-- Bekah seeing her playset for the first time. She loves it!

With only 10 weeks left until Avery gets here I finally decided it was time to get this blog started. I figured this was the easiest way to post pictures of him as well as Bekah as she is growing EVERY day! Plus I have some computer illiterate family members that are having issues with the Kodak Gallery. I'll post more and pictures and video in my free time (ha!) For now it's back to the piles of laundry and the never ending task of trying to get Avery's room ready.
