So he's almost 9 weeks old and I'm finally getting his birth announcements done. We're getting them printed this week. Better late than never right?

Pumpkin Patch

Well finally the kids are both well. Now if mommy and daddy can get over sleep deprivation! :-)

October Updates

Well both kids are finally healthy and back to their normal selves. Here are some updated pictures.

Dr. Visits

Well both of my kids went to the Dr. on Tuesday. Avery had his 2 month follow up scheduled. He had 4 shots (yes he screamed!) but other than that he was in perfect health. He's a chunky monkey weighing in at 13 lbs. 7 ozs. (95%) and 23.5 inches long (75%). That morning Bekah has a visit too! We called it in because we though she had strep throat (her throat was MAJORLY swollen.) Well we she got up that morning she had huge whelp like rashes all over her body. Turns out she has scarlet fever! So that's our family update- boht kids are whiny and sick (Avery is because of his shots!) and Mom and Dady are running on VERY little sleep.

Bekah's Play Date

Last weekend Aunt Benita and Uncle Zach came down for a day visit and they brought cousin Hayden and our good friend Coralyn. (Bekah and Coralyn had played together before numerous times this summer! Coralyn is about to be a big sister too!!!) Anyway here are some pictures of the boys together and the girls playing. We turned on the waterhose and let them slide down into the small pool. They also loved playing on the swingset. I have a feeling they will be good friends!!

It's been awhile

So it has been a while since I blogged. Things are pretty busy in the Sutton household. I returned to school 2 weeks ago. I'm still trying to play catch up- plus Trae and I are exhausted with Avery waking up for his night feeding and not wanting to go back to sleep! The past few weeks Bekah has also been getting up in the middle of the night or waking up at 5:00 am. So the house is a mess, our lives are super busy, and we're running on little sleep but we are still alive and enjoying our new family of four. Here are some pictures from the past few weeks.

I got a surprise on my first day back at school. My kids bought me a gorgeous flower arrangement. Daddy says they used their allowance to get them.

On our way back from Trae's family reunion Bekah said she had to go potty. So we pulled over to the side of the road and Trae held her. He held her for a while and when she didn't do anything he put her down and said she was done. She was very upset and said she wasn't done so he picked her back up and she went poo poo. Yeah!!! But then I looked up and saw this sign and started busting out laughing!!! I had to take a picture of them by it. Way to go Bekah-- breaking the law at age 2 1/2.
These are the outfits the boys wore to the family reunion. They were styling in their Hawaiian outfits. You can't really tell in the pictures but Avery's outfit brought out his beautiful blue eyes.
