Howdy Everyone! Christmas 2008
Well Daddy has really done it this time! He broke Mommy’s Christmas Tree!!! He told her he accidently bent it and can’t straighten it up, so when he put it up it leans really really bad. Mommy says he did it on purpose, but he says he didn’t, though between you and me he has had it out for that tree since Mommy made him buy it a few years ago! Uh-oh…Mommy is chasing him with a rolling pin in her hand. I hope she doesn’t catch him. Daddy is usually pretty slow, but he is moovvvinnnggg. RUN DADDY RUN!!! While Daddy is running for his life, I will give you an update on the big happenings going around the Sutton household this year!
Well the real big news (and I mean BIG literally), was that my big little brother Avery was born on August 10th. He was 8 lbs 1 oz and 20 inches long and a month early. He has been growing like a weed since. He is off the charts on everything! He is a little chunker as Mommy says and takes after Daddy in that category. Daddy denies it, but if most of you haven’t seen Daddy lately he won’t be winning any body building competitions, unless it is a tummy building competition!
So as usual Mommy is taking great care of us. I go to the potty in the big potty all the time now! Daddy and Avery are still having accidents. This is my second year of school and I am learning lots of new things. I had my first Christmas Program last week and sang Jingle Bells. Daddy tried to help me practice, but he made my ears hurt so he stopped singing. Avery is laughing all the time. I think it is at Daddy’s big ears. He is holding his head up and kicking and smiling!
Pa-paw bought some horses this year!!!! He bought one named Phoenix that I love!!! He tells me that Phoenix is his, but we all know that Phoenix is mine! I like to feed Phoenix, Sugar and Bitsy carrots and ride on Phoenix and Sugar’s back. I love to help Pa-paw and Daddy feed the cows too. I went hunting with Pa-paw and Daddy for the first time this year too. I don’t know why they didn’t see many deer. Every time one came out I would point to it and holler deer so they would know where it was. They wouldn’t stay too long after that for some reason!
Uh-oh, Mommy caught Daddy and all I have to say is that is going to leave a mark. He is hollering at me to call 9-1-1, but I don’t know what that is. I had better go get Daddy some ice, a Dora band aide and Tylenol.
From our Family to yours, we would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Bekah (oh and Mommy and Daddy and Avery too!)
